Polly Umrigar Award : Virat Kohli (India)
• India captain Virat Kohli received the Polly Umrigar Award for being the best international cricketer for the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons at the annual BCCI awards.
Lifetime Achievement award :Anshuman Gaekwad and Sudha Shah received the CK Nayudu .
2. Mithali Raj became the first batsman from the country to score 2000 runs in T20I cricket.
• Mithali has now scored 2015 runs in 74 T20Is with the help of 14 half-centuries.
• She has a decent average of 38.01 with the highest score of 76 not out.
3. Kagiso Rabada wins South Africa’s Cricketer of The Year Award.
• Kagiso Rabada, the world’s number one Test bowler, was named South Africa’s Cricketer of the Year.
• Rabada collected a total of six awards, including Test cricketer of the year, one-day
international player of the year and players’ player of the year.
4. Australian captain Aaron Finch slammed 172 (76) against Zimbabwe to register the highest-ever individual score in T20Is, overtaking his own record of 156 runs.
5. Rahul Dravid inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame 2018: Former captains Rahul Dravid of India, Ricky Ponting of Australia and retired England Women wicket keeper-batter Claire Taylor were inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame 2018 during a glittering ceremony in Dublin, Ireland.
• Former Team India captain Rahul Dravid has become the fifth Indian cricketer after Anil Kumble, Sunil Gavaskar, Bishan Singh Bedi and Kapil Dev to be inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame.

10. Kohli becomes fastest player to reach 10,000 Runs in History of ODI Cricket
• India captain Virat Kohli has become the fastest batsman to score 10,000 runs in the history of ODI cricket, achieving the feat in his 205th innings, against Windies.
• The 29-year-old overtook Sachin Tendulkar, who had reached 10,000 ODI runs in his 259th innings, against Australia in 2001.
